Took nearly a month on this one (so much going on)! Honestly, I'm not a huge, huge fan of Haruhi Suzumiya, but I couldn't help but imagine many Sonic characters playing the roles of Haruhi characters. For those who have seen the original ad for this year's new season of Haruhi on the internet, you will find that I've adapted the composition of that pic and only drew the Sonic characters instead of the humans (except Maria and Gerald). I have the original Haruhi picture saved in my computer, but I don't know if its alright to post someone else's work, especially on this site.

By the way, Silver's hair had to be combed down, otherwise he will block Sonic and Rouge's faces. Also, Shadow is wearing glasses since his character has one.

CAST

1) Kyon: Sonic (since Sonic is the series' main protagonist, he should narrate the events of Haruhi)

2) Haruhi: Amy (both are equally as crazy)

3) Mikuru [and older]: Tikal (They have orange hair. innocent personalities, and are time travelers)

4) Yuki: Blaze (didn't both come from different dimensions?)

5) Itsuki: Silver (both are psychic and have the same japanese V.A.)

6) Ryouko: Rouge (each could be ranked as the most attractive in their groups)

7) Kyon's sister: Cream (playful characters)

8) Shamisen: Cheese (well, they are unable to talk XD)

9) Tsuruya: Marine (both could be equally as hyper)

10) Kunikida: Tails (considered the smartest)

11) Taniguchi: Knuckles (knuckles may not actually qualify as him, but he might have an interest in Rouge, just like Taniguchi was into Ryouko after ranking her an AA+)

12) The computer research society president: Eggman (the president opposes Haruhi while Eggman opposes Amy)

I do not know anything about Sonou and Arakawa, but I've read that they're part of an "agency," whatever that is. Both Maria and Gerald may have been perfect for them since they were spending a lot of time, together, before GUN took over the ARK.



Note: I know a handful of people already began the Sonic Haruhi fanarts, but nobody actually introduced more than just the SOS members.

While I can't say I'm too knowledgeable about the Haruhi Suzumiya series or its characters outside of a few images and clips, but I do have to give you credit for putting together a seemingly fitting crossover and a VERY active piece altogether. This really does come off as something like a promo, and it doesn't look like you were willing to cut any corners or compromise with the festive nature of the drawing. With so many characters and expressions going about, that's pretty cool.

Can't really find too much to complain about here, really. All of the characters are drawn pretty well, the coloring's nice, and it just feels pretty unique overall (personally, I've never seen a Sonic/Haruhi fanart, so this is actually new to me). Longer story short, a very solid effort here. :)

It's great to hear from you again, too! Like I said, I've used the original layout of a professional Haruhi pic from the internet as reference to set up this whole artwork. So technically, this is not 100% original. Glad that you admire my work, though, and you should really consider getting into the Haruhi series, it's one of the most popular animes out there!

I probably would check out the series, but I'm not exactly good at tracking down places to view anime, so I'm pretty much restricted to what's almost directly in front of me. lol

Anyways, even though it's not entirely original, the execution of the idea is pretty darn good, so I still think it's fair to give credit here. :)

I'm not familier with that anime, but still I really like this piece. Nice job on it. :) All the character poses, outfits, and expressions are great.

I like how you even use some of the semi-obscure Sonic characters like Marine, and Bokkun, & Prof. Gerald here. :)
